Pros of the ballpark: Affordable place to take a family of
five (of which I am a member). Easy and fast access in and out of
the stadium. LOVE looking at the palm trees early in the season
when everybody else up north still has their parkas on when we watch
a game on MLB Extra Innings. Adequate food choices, some local
(areas, for one), not bad pricing because the portions are big and
sharable. Ticket prices are fair; we sit in the upper deck in 401,
the first section down the third base line with discount pricing.
Fans are friendly, and they know and love their Marlins, like we
do. We often can see Mr. Loria down in his box checking out his
team.
Cons of the ballpark: While the Marlins are a great product
on the field, there's not much baseball atmosphere at Dolphin
Stadium, if you know what I mean. I grew up at Wrigley, and my
husband grew up at Comiskey (how's that for a pairing), and we both
lament the fact that our beloved Fish have to play in a football
stadium. We implore Mr. Loria to dig a little deeper and help build
that new park down by the Orange Bowl. We want our daughters to
grow up with major league ball the way we did!
Additional Comments: Overall, Dolphin Stadium is
family-friendly. Whenever a big-name out-of-town Latin player is
here, like Sammy Sosa or Edgar Renteria, it's like a big festival,
and fans bring and wave their country flags. Lots of fun.

Pros of the ballpark: Since it was designed for football, the
seating is fairly steeply sloped, which improves the view. It also
keeps the seats closer to the field. Foul territory has been kept
reasonable, so you're fairly close. The lower bowl behind home
plate gives the best view of the field of any park I've been to.
The $31/$34 box seats give a great view for the price. The crowd is
small but passionate and fun. Easy parking and highway access.
Cons of the ballpark: Too few concession stands; on a weekend
game, they can be backed up throughout the whole game. And of
course, it's ugly. You go here to watch baseball, not to see the
ballpark.
Additional Comments: This is a much better place to watch
baseball than it's given credit for. People from Ivy-covered places
might be shocked at the sight of Mermaids dancing on the dugouts,
but I believe they're required by some Miami ordinance.

Pros of the ballpark: Ok this ballpark is not for the Florida
Marlins I go to alot of games they get no support by the fans. You
can get any set in the park. Tickets are easy to get you can get
them r free most of the time.
Cons of the ballpark: This park is for the Miami Dolphin not
for the Marlins. They sell Miami heat and dolphin items there. To
hot to go to day games.
Additional Comments: I love the Fish but all i want for then
is the get there ballpark so they can get people to come to there
games.

Pros of the ballpark: Very easy to get seats up-close to the
field, even with a playoff-bound team on the field.
Cons of the ballpark: The stadium is horribly located. even
with the sponsor, there is very little variety for merchandise. The
fans were crammed together, even though it was mostly empty. I love
baseball, and this place was horrible for it.
Additional Comments: I wish that they would build a new
ballpark or bud selig would contract the marlins, so this stadium
would revert to a football only stadium.

Pros of the ballpark:
1)When it's packed this place is probably the second loudest park in
baseball. The fan and the staff are kind and the many ethnic
backgrounds makes this place amazing
2)Gotta love the Jacuzzis down the right field lines.
3)Sound system, Scorebords, Graphics are of high quality.
4)Team is the defending world champions.
5)Pregame festivities are fun.
6) Even with 65,000 people it's easy to get in and out of the
stadium.
7) Pitchers park so if you like pitching this is heaven.
Cons of the ballpark:
1)Football stadium
2)Expensive
3)Ugly concrete outside is all gray
3)Concrete in the inside all orange
4)orange seats
5) One of the worst neighborhoods in town.
6) Nothing to do after game (or get mugged).
7) lights are not set up for baseball.
Additional Comments: Lord only knows what this team can do
with a new stadium. these fans are underrated. Fastest team to 2
World Championships in MLB History.

Pros of the ballpark: Great grounds crew. They can change the
stadium from football to baseball in 10 hours. The grass stays good
after football games. Other than that, it sucks.
Cons of the ballpark: Orange is a cool color, but attracts
heat, so the seats get hot. The only covered seats are in the club
level. The seats and the lights are set up for football, so the
seats are angled toward second base, and home plate is dark. The Pro
Player company has been out of business for 4 years, but nobody has
bought the naming rights.
Additional Comments: Dolphin Stadium is a dump. I can't
wait until the Fish get their new park financed and built.

Pros of the ballpark: 1) Cup holders for all seats, not just
the pricey ones by HP. 2) Asymmetrical design with unique touches
(irregular height "Teal Monster" and "Bermuda Triangle" in CF.
Cons of the ballpark: 1) Dolphin Stadium is DEFINITELY the
home of the Miami Dolphins. They sell 'Fins season tix between
innings. 2) You got to hunt to find where to buy a scorecard (check
the souvenir shops). 3) I don't know what is more depressing, seeing
30,000 empty seats or covering them with tarp. Either way, it's sad.
Additional Comments: The attendance at the game was 9669, and
probably 5000 of those were Cubs fans. Sammy Sosa got a standing
ovation for hitting a 2 run HR while Cliff Floyd kind of got
applauded for hitting the go-ahead homer. The Marlins have got to
get out of this place, somehow! If the city and county won't assist
building a retractable roof (a must in S. FL in summer), then the
Marlins need to start packing.
