Minute Maid Park |
Finding a parking
space in Downtown Houston can be easy and
inexpensive when you plan ahead. Use a map to find
parking options located near your Downtown
destination. Have a second location in mind in
case your first choice is full.
Minute Maid Park is a short walk from most of
Houston's downtown garages and surface parking
lots. It is estimated that almost 25,000 parking
spaces are available in a walkable distance for
ballpark events.
The key to a successful parking experience for
Astros games will be to park in the area in which
you have entered Downtown and to exit in the same
direction. By taking advantage of free public
transportation or simply walking, you will be able
to arrive at the ballpark in a matter of minutes.
Parking Tips to make your trip easier:
- Read all signs
before you park. Look for signs and banners with
the baseball "P" that designates public parking.
- Carry nickels,
dimes and quarters for parking meters. Many
surface lots are unattended and require payment
in advance. Keep some one dollar bills handy.
- Some Downtown
restaurants and hotels offer shuttle service.
Ask about parking when calling for lunch or
dinner reservations.
- The best way to
explore Downtown is on foot. You might discover
a great new shop or restaurant! Please be
respectful of neighborhoods and residential
areas.

with Ace Parking, offer a broad range of parking options at a
variety of price levels and locations. Fans have a choice when it
comes to the price and location of parking. More than 27,000 parking
spaces are located near the ballpark in the downtown area. Of those
spaces, 11,000 have been designated specifically for PETCO Park fans
at prices from $3, $5, $8, $10,and $12 depending on proximity to the
ballpark. Premium parking is also available directly adjacent to
PETCO Park for $17. Each parking zone has been designated a
different color for easy referencing on the downtown access and
parking map. Fans should choose a parking location based upon the
direction they'll be heading after the game whether it is to the
north, east or south. |

PNC Park |
|
If you're coming from the NORTH, you
should park in the NORTH!
Your best parking choice is to use one of the North Shore surface
lots or garages around PNC Park. By staying on the North Shore,
you'll have the easiest access, to and from the ballpark, to I-279
North, Route 65 or Route 28. If you are coming from the north,
your parking choices on the North Shore
include lots 7A, 7B, 7C or 7D, the surface River Road lots,
Allegheny Center garage and North Shore Garage.
If you're coming from the EAST, SOUTH or WEST - parking downtown
will be best for you.
You can then get to the ballpark by walking over the Clemente
Bridge. With several parking options downtown costing only $3.00 on
game days, it's an easy and cost effective way to get to the
ballpark!
After the game, if you are going SOUTH or WEST, you'll have easy
access to the Liberty Bridge / Tunnel via the Boulevard of the
Allies entrance ramp. You can then follow the directional signage to
I-279 South, Route 19 South and Route 51. If you're headed EAST,
you'll have easy access to I-376 (Parkway East) via the Seventh
Avenue or Stanwix, Wood and Grant Street ramps. |

Wrigley Field |
The Cubs operate
and supervise a parking lot located at 1126 W. Grace St. Parking
passes can be purchased through the mail or in person at the
Wrigley Field box office.
Parking around Wrigley Field is heavily restricted. In some
areas close to Wrigley Field parking is not allowed on the
streets without a resident permit sticker showing on your car's
windshield. During night games there is no parking allowed on
any of the streets in the Wrigleyville area without a resident
permit sticker showing on your car's windshield.
Several businesses in and around Wrigley Field sell parking on
gameday. However parking anywhere around Wrigley Field is tough
anytime. Your best bet is to use public transportation by taking
the CTA Red Line Train to the Addison stop. |
