Directions
NOTE: If you do not have reserved parking around Nationals
Park it is recommended that you DO NOT drive to the ballpark.
Parking is extremely limited and generally only available to season
ticket holders.
It is recommended that fans traveling
to the game via car park FREE at RFK Stadium and take the team's
free shuttle to Nationals Park. The Nationals will offer free
bus service from RFK Stadium to Nationals Park at least a hour and a
half before and after each game.
Directions to FREE Parking at RFK
Stadium:
From National Airport:
Exit National Airport
following signs for I-395 and 50 West to Washington. On
George Washington Parkway take exit for I-395 North. Stay on
395 North, across the Potomac River, for approximately three
miles. Once past the Maine Avenue exit, stay in the left
lane of the freeway. I-395 will exit to the right to the
Capitol and Senate buildings. Do not follow I-395 North;
stay left for the stadium.
Proceed straight ahead in the left lanes to the exit at
Sixth Street Southeast and Navy Yard. At bottom of the ramp
go left at traffic light onto Sixth Street. Stay on 6th
Street for .5 miles to Independence Avenue. Turn Right onto
Independence Ave. and stay on Independence for 1.1 miles to
19th Street. Turn Left onto 19th Street and travel one block
to East Capitol Street. Turn right on East Capitol to the
stadium.
From Sheraton Crystal City:
Follow Route 1 North to I-395 North ( to
Washington). On I-395, follow directions as from National
Airport.
From Union Station:
Go East from Union Station along Massachusetts
Avenue. Continue past Stanton Square on Massachusetts to
Lincoln Park (at 12th Street). Go around Lincoln Park to
East Capitol Street and turn right onto East Capitol. Follow
East Capitol to stadium.
From I-66 and Constitution Avenue:
Follow Constitution East past the Capitol to
Maryland Avenue. Turn left on Maryland and go two blocks to
Stanton Square. At Stanton Square, turn right onto
Massachusetts Avenue. On Massachusetts, follow directions as
from Union Station.
Other Ways to Nationals Park:
Use the Metro and take the Green Line
to the Navy Yard station. The Navy Yard station is just a half a
block away and will accommodate 24,000 passengers an hour. Plus,
Metro has over 57,000 parking spaces at their Park and Ride lots
(Park/Ride Lots are not at the Nationals Park).

Parking
Parking is NOT available at the Nationals Park unless you
have a reserved parking pass from a season ticket holder. It is
recommended that fans park for free at RFK Stadium,
