Due to Fenway
Park's location in Boston, parking is extremely limited
around the ballpark. Most street parking is restricted to
handicapped parking, if at all allowed, and police are
strictly enforcing parking restrictions on residential
streets surrounding the ballpark.
If you must drive to the game,
there are public parking garages and lots within easy
walking distance of Fenway Park on Brookline Avenue, on
Longwood Avenue in the Longwood Medical Area, on
Commonwealth Avenue on the Boston University campus. In
addition, Red Sox fans can enjoy a special discounted
parking rate at Prudential Center, also within walking
distance of Fenway Park.
Parking fees range
from hourly rates of $5 to game parking rates of $20,
depending on the location and capacity of the parking garage
or lot.
It is recommended
that fans take the green line of the subway to the Fenway stop from
anywhere in Boston.
